Ingo K. Strehlke is a German Patent Attorney, European Patent, Trademark & Design Attorney and founding partner of the firm von Rohr and advises national and international clients in all matters of intellectual property (patents, utility models, trademarks and designs). In the area of technical property rights, Ingo K. Strehlke has many years of experience and extensive expertise in the fields of general chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology, chemical process engineering, pharmaceuticals as well as medicine and medical technology. A particular focus of his work is, in addition to handling national and international patent litigation, opposition, nullity and appeal proceedings, the evaluation of intellectual property in the context of company acquisitions, transactions and takeovers. Furthermore he is also admitted as a representative before the Unified Patent Court.
Prior to the foundation of von Rohr in 2012, Ingo K. Strehlke gained many years of profound practical experience as a partner in an established patent law firm and as in-house patent attorney at an international group company of the chemical-pharmaceutical industry. Prior to his training as a patent attorney, Ingo K. Strehlke successfully completed his doctorate in Natural Sciences in 1995, which was preceded by a degree in chemistry from Ruhr University of Bochum in 1992.

Strehlke knows about the high requirements as well as the far-reaching possibilities of intellectual property from all relevant perspectives.
As a long-standing member of the Committee for Biotechnology at the German Patent Attorneys’ Association and as a specialist author, Ingo K. Strehlke continues to be committed to the development in the field of intellectual property. Furthermore, he is dedicated to the training and education of patent attorney trainees.
