Leonie Katharina Rehbock

M.Sc. in Chemistry

In October 2018, Leonie Katharina Rehbock, born 1993, started her training in the field of intellectual property rights with the aim of successfully completing her training as a patent attorney in the law firm von Rohr. She is also currently studying law for patent attorneys at the FernUniversität Hagen.

Prior to starting at von Rohr, she gained several years of practical experience while working in various fields of the chemical industry.

During her master’s studies in chemistry at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf she focused on macromolecular chemistry and wrote her master’s thesis on the subject “Synthesis of acrylate-based polymers with adhesion promoting groups” in cooperation with one of the largest German chemical companies. The previous bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biotechnology and the bachelor’s thesis on “UV-induced rapid curing of cycloaliphatic epoxy resins” were also successfully completed in cooperation with the same chemical company.

Leonie Katharina Rehbock acquired her excellent English language skills during her year abroad in the USA.
