As a German and European Patent, Trademark & Design Attorney, André Nock advises and represents national and international clients in all fields of industrial property. A particular focus is on the prosecution and coordination of complex patent families with patent applications in Europe and worldwide. André Nock has been working in the field of industrial property law since he joined the firm von Rohr in December 2016. He has also been admitted as a representative before the Unified Patent Court.
André Nock has been working in the field of industrial property law since he joined the firm von Rohr in December 2016. He was admitted as a European Patent Attorney in 2021 and is particularly involved in the drafting and prosecution of European and foreign patent applications, both in the German and English language.
André Nock conducted his doctoral studies at Queen Mary University of London, for which he was awarded the doctoral degree (Ph.D.). Prior to that, he studied physics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and successfully graduated in 2012.

Both in the doctoral studies and for his previous graduation thesis, André Nock conducted research in the field of quantum chaos, an interdisciplinary branch of physics that investigates how chaotic behaviour manifests on the atomic scale. André Nock was in particular concerned with theoretical models on quantum chaotic scattering systems which, amongst others, have an application in wireless data transmission. The gained insights led to publications in renowned scientific journals as well as participations at international conferences with interdisciplinary topics from physics, mathematics and communications engineering.
