Anna Rabe

Dr. rer. nat., M.Sc. Chemistry

Anna Rabe joined von Rohr in September 2025 as a trainee patent attorney, with the aim of qualifying as a German Patent Attorney.

Before joining von Rohr, Anna worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her research focused on catalytic materials, where she addressed complex chemical and physical challenges related to catalyst characterization, reaction mechanisms, and optimization strategies.

She also completed her doctoral studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her PhD research centered on the development and optimization of novel heterogeneous catalysts, as well as the investigation of fundamental structure–property relationships. Through this work, she gained extensive experience in materials development, advanced analytical characterization techniques, and experimental reaction engineering.

Anna obtained her Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen, where she specialized in catalysis and further developed her scientific profile.

She completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Freiburg (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg), laying the foundation for her academic career.
